Darkhorse team with plenty of assets to get a deal done if they wanted to. Included some non-rookie players since they have two interesting ones with high value.

Memphis:
  • 2023-2029 1st rounders (All owned, available to trade in 2 year increments, swaps in other years)
  • 2024 1st from GSW (Protected 1-4 in 24, 1 in 25, and unprotected in 26)
  • Jaren Jackson JR (4 years left on deal. Extremely team friendly deal that lowers every year. Final year in 25-26 is only 23 million
  • Dillion Brooks (1 year left at 11 million)
  • Ziaire Williams (3 years left on rookie deal)
  • Brandon Clarke (1 year left on rookie deal)
  • Jake Laravia (rookie)
  • David Roddy (rookie)
  • Desmond Bane (2 years left on rookie deal)
  • Santi Aldama (3 years left on rookie deal)
  • Kenny Lofton JR (rookie)
  • Kennedy Chandler (rookie)

Jaren Jackson JR - I kind of don't think he's available and I would take him more as an assett
Desmond Bane (2 years left on rookie deal)
2029 MEM 1st
2028 MEM 1st
2027 MEM 1st
2026 MEM 1st
2025 MEM 1st
2024 1st from GSW (Protected 1-4 in 24, 1 in 25, and unprotected in 26)
2024 MEM 1st
Ziaire Williams (3 years left on rookie deal)
2023 MEM 1st
Brandon Clarke (1 year left on rookie deal)
Dillion Brooks (1 year left at 11 million)
Jake Laravia (rookie)
David Roddy (rookie)
Santi Aldama (3 years left on rookie deal)
Kenny Lofton JR (rookie)
Kennedy Chandler (rookie)

Something like this... I haven't watched the rookies much so I won't really rank them...

Caveat - I think MEM has no intention to trade Bane or Jackson and these picks look to be in the 20's for years to come.

  1. Jaren Jackson (think Memphis would say no right away though at his inclusion in any deal, he's too important to what they do)

They would 100% have to trade one of Bane or Jackson. Bane is the most obvious since positionally he plays the same position as Mitchell would next to Morant.

For sure, but he's on a sweetheart contract for two years and then probably looking at a max assuming he continues to improve. I think Jackson is more likely to be moved, but I think MEM is going to just run it back and let Morant be the alpha.

I think a DM/Morant backcourt is a distraction quite honestly.

Jackson's deal is super team friendly as I outlined. It would make more sense to keep Jackson and upgrade Bane into Mithcell.

Bane is great, but is he max worthy? IDK. I dont think a Memphis trade is likely at all, but I dont think Memphis would hesitate to include Bane.
