Holy cow you guys!
Already you're wanting to sell half of our players down the river due to 1 preseason game in a very short practice period!!
Is there no logic on this board??
Do you think that it's a coincidence that most of the preseason games have been won by teams with an over abundance of youth or teams that have been established for a couple of years or so?? Maybe that has to do with conditioning and practicing with familiar players??
Harris has been with us for half of a season, Okur hasn't played the game for 1 1/2 of the last 2 years, Jefferson has one bad game (albeit at the beginning of the season in the first meaningless preseason game... And you have other veterans that are slow coming out of the shoot (except for Raja, he's just a stiff and should be coming off of the bench at the very least).
Not to mention we have two new young draft picks that our coaching staff has to figure out how to fit them into our lineups....
CALM DOWN PEOPLE!
How did the Lakers look in their 1st preseason game?? Do you really think they'll be in the cellar this year??
At least the coaches are experimenting with starting/backup lineups that we'll probably never see in the regular season...
Maybe Corbin just wanted to see how Okur played with Jefferson?? And how Favors played with Kanter...
I agree that the starting lineup should not be old veterans only and I'm certain that Corbin and Co won't be implementing that lineup in the regular season...
Give these guys a chance to put the pieces where they need to be.. I think we have a great mix of veteran and young talent... Which can lead to championship aspirations...
Not to mention a VERY deep bench, no matter where the lineups end up... Which is also very exciting...
Be patient guys... Let's wait to throw some of these guys under the bus at least until the start of the regular season
