Although I risk the wraith of AK haters, I must silence the pain crying out from my soul. I have been a long and loyal fan of AK since the departure of Karl and John. I have defended him too all despite his unimpressive and mind boggeling inconsistant play. Now my hero's jazz tune is complete and it was a fantastic experince.

AK I hope that you find all the success and happiness that eluded you during your stay in Utah. The NBA has seen few players like you and the Jazz even less. Good luck and god speed, you have entertained me for years.

J.K. Anyway I lost a lot of my appreciation for AK the day he said that he should be paid the same as Pau Gasol. He held out until he got a max contract, and I don't think he's ever been a max player. Close, but not the max.

As for success, he did go with us to a western conference final. Not bad at all for a small market team rebuilding.

So much talent so little effort most of the time. I don't have anything personally against AK but the love for the guy is way beyond common sense. I would say overall AK had a disappointing career as a Jazzman considering the hype. Like all former Jazz players I do wish him well.
