I swear you say **** just to say ****.
Coming from the dunce who thinks Quin is one of worst coaches in the NBA at in-game adjustments.

I feel fine saying Christian Wood sucks when every team that has had him has decided not to keep him despite his youth and talent level.

I guarantee we had the most blown leads in the 4th quarter last year if there is a stat for that.

How can you literally say that Quin isn’t terrible at in-game adjustments? Have you not watched a single game the last 3 years?

If the team is blowing double digit leads in the 4th quarter that isnt the coach's fault man. That's the players being mentally soft. I'm sorry Quin couldnt coach the ability to care about defense or ball movement into Donovan Mitchell.
The culture of the team and accountability of the players is also the coach's responsibility.

I'm not gonna sit here and say that Quin simply is a terrible coach, but he did a bad job the last two years. I get that he has to work with human beings and not some simple command-and-control apparatus like in a video game, but it doesn't change the fact that the team executing is his responsibility. Mitchell was a little **** that ****ed up a lot of the cultural components, but again, it's Quin's job to deal with that. I'm not saying that is easy.

Quin deserved to be fired and I think there's reason to believe that that is more what happened than is being reported. The whole team deserved to be nuked, and the job isn't finished.

Will you two just **** and get it over with? Some of us are trying to enjoy the new era and your non-stop "will they/won't they" flirtation is tiring.

It makes sense to me cuz Wood kind of sucks and McGee is a good fit w/ Luka, but I dont get why they made it so predetermined.
He's not had a chance to be on a team with other good players. He's also a knucklehead of course. It makes sense that Houston traded him... they still weren't trying to win and have another talented knucklehead... I just think if you are Dallas and you gave up a pick to get him, then why put him on the bench. Especially in a contract year... you want him to have his head on straight and he will be concerned about his next deal. Making him a sixth man hurts his value and is just unnecessary drama. Wood is a great roll man too... so he will thrive with Luka.

I boils down to this... if you think Wood is a good gamble, then why give the starting gig to a vet center you overpaid? Give that gamble the best chance to pay out.

He's not a guy I'd be wanting to take a chance on with the Jazz anymore. When I wanted Wood is was because we really needed that frontcourt flex piece and he was a low risk high reward type of bet.

I'd waive Gay. Fixing the culture sounds like a high priority and he does not have a good attitude here. There's too many young players I'd rather see then Gay
I would strongly consider it, but I get why they haven't done it yet. Would have thought maybe you could use Bogey's trade value to offload Gay.

If things don't go well for Rudy the first 10-15 games just send him home until the trade deadline... then buy him out.

With Gay there is also a chance he looks solid in pre-season and another team would be willing to give him a minimum deal... so he'd accept a buyout and give some of his money back to go somewhere he wants to play. If I was the Jazz I'd give his team the green light to kick the tires out there and see who is interested if he was on a min deal.

I get good vibes from Stanley, I hope he makes the team.
Dude sounds super grown up and mature. Having to go from high draft pick to fighting for a job. I kind of like having those guys around to help young guys understand how fast life can come at you.

I thought he might get moved because I'd think someone could use him and he fits into basically any tpe.
