Not to mention he had Evans inbounding the ball, who he KNEW would have to handle the ball against the full court press, the second time he saw that press. What a joke. This has nothing to do with who Corbin decided to have on the floor down the stretch. It's what he chose to do with them. There were other ball handlers on the court who he had placed up the court when he knew they were about to see a full court press that had already caused two turnovers, while he had Evans inbounding the ball.

Anyone who has played basketball knows the inbounder usually always gets it back on a press.

Say what you will about his decisions, you can't dismiss that he coached his *** off since the loss at Portland. I loved that he had the team practicing the morning after a 1:30 arrival at SLC. He had them watching VIDEO, something Jerry never did. He worked the team hard and had them ready to play their first home preseason game. During both preseason games, he was up and actively involved coaching throughout. All you can expect from a coach is to work hard, make the best decision he knows how to make, and get your team ready to play. I think Ty is going to be all right.

I agree. Once Portland cut the lead to 6, he should have told the starters to remove their ice packs and get back in the game. What the $%^# was he thinking? Portland had their starters playing.
