Jimmer! making NAOS cry now

Wait, so are all those .....dot, dot, dot's meaning you're being sarcastic?

NAOS is no longer the object of my affection after that sick Curry pass. Now you are.

As much as I'd love to go around Jimmering every thread on the board for a solid year sounding like an idiot fan boy living a dream because my hometown hero made two shots in the NBA PRESEASON, I'm going with "ou sound pretty foolish in this thread". Jimmer sucks so there.

Thanks, it's good to have you back.

Keep the dream alive.

I was talking about post #16.

Well, I supposed you could interpret it two different ways.

basketballreference.com allows you to sort by opponents 3 pt.% for twelve of Slona's full seasons, ending from 1999-2010. If you count the times the Jazz ended a15th or 16th in that category as median, they were median 5 times, above median 4 times, and below median 3 times. If instead you go with above median being 15 or better, and below median being 16 or worse, they were actually tied, with 6 above and 6 below. Mixed in were a some top-ten years and some bottom-ten years.

Can't figure out how Curry sprained his ankle on THAT play! Looked innocent enough. And your saying it was his surgically repaired ankle? Were his ankles taped??? No way he could have sprained it on that play if his ankle was taped!!!

You said "during Sloan's tenure", not 1999-2010.

The stats don't give a breakdown of how often teams got easy baskets because the Jazz were scrambling out to the three point line, leaving someone else open.

You think it was worse when we had Eaton, a younger Stockton & Malone, etc.? I researched every year for which I could find data.

Nor do they give a breakdown on how many easy rebounds were had because the Jazz let opponents take bad shots. We can go back-and-forth on unsupported conclusions all day. The only evidence presented so far indicates the Jazz 3-point defense was neither particularly worse nor better than the rest of the NBA under Sloan. Feel free to provide new evidence.
