So the Jazz have effectively replaced Donovan with Lauri, in my opinion. The team has for moments shot the 3 ball really well so Bogey shooting has been partially covered. The only thing major this team is missing is Gobert. We have partially filled it with Vando's insane rebounding and turnover creating. And some from Kessler's presence and near basket touch. Olynyk gives the Jazz a whole different look and aspect. I am going to say we got good things going on and Gobert can't be replicated but... we might be just one star away from seriously being competitive...this team has really got it going.

Last two seasons it was over 80%. Its a lot about his again improved mobility. It allows him lower stance and faster steps so he isn't getting stripped as easily, which was a concern in his 3rd and 4th seasons if he ever tried to go inside handling the ball.

Wow.. just the end of the 3rd so far but Markkanen is playing like a man possessed!!!
Lauri is averaging 22.6 PPG and 9.3 RPG through 8 games.

Bulls fans are in complete denial. If you go to the realgm board they are dead set on Lauri being a scrub. They just can't get over the fact that they are terrible at developing players.

The Bulls got Derrick Jones Jr for Lauri Markkanen and a yet to be conveyed lottery protected Blazers pick.
It's still just crazy the Bulls had Markkanen for 4 years and didnt see the potential and figure out how to make it work to the point that the entire NBA was like "Ehh, I guess he's just mid" so he goes to Cleveland to play as a catch and shoot player.
We are so ****ing lucky to have him fall into our laps. He's damn good.
