I’d rather hold onto him in case we can throw his salary in on a trade, but I’d be cool with sending him home at this point
He needs to be gone by the trade deadline. Bench him immediately. If we can’t trade him, then waive him.

good news is that i feel quite certain that if we are healthy then gay doesn't play. Simone has been too good. i dont see a spot for him in the rotation when we have all our dudes. Only 16 minutes tonight when we didn't have lauri or simone. That doesnt bode well for him. (it does for us though)

Every time he touches the ball I’m so scared he’s going to shoot the ball. I think he was 0-4 from 3. There is absolutely no reason for him to shoot more than one 3 per game ore every other game, none!! His only focus should be on defense and rebounding.

Bench him. Try to trade him. After the deadline, just bite the bullet. It’s not like the Jazz absolutely have to have his $6 million next year. Admit it’s a lost investment and move on. No need to stretch him and make it last multiple years. Try to get him to give a little of it back in a buyout vs. having him sit the rest of the year, but don’t let the money be the deciding factor.

I'm all for shipping him to the Hornets with a top 8 protected Wolves pick. Provided it gets us Kai Jones aka Holy Hell or aka SLC Punk and the Denver 1st or something.
Seeing that highlight coast to coast of him yesterday reminded me how much upside Jones has. I might even give the Wolves pick top 5 protected for him outright.

It might be time for you to put down the pipe. You don't give up any kind of asset to dump Rudy and you sure as hell don't do it for Kai Jones.

Sure as long as Jones changes his hair color from blue to purple. Wouldn't be able to handle highligher yellow hair on a grown *** man.
I wouldn't give up a top 8 protected pick though.
It's less "manly" to give a **** about another man's hair than it is to care about it they have yellow hair.
I think what's going to happen is he plays the season out and if he isnt needed to be filler in a bigger deal, the Jazz will just tell him to stay home during the last year of his contract.
