Clarkson is averaging 4.5 more shots per game than Lauri this month. That is less than ideal.
I don't know. Jazz had Conley in that PG role although it seemed the ball was more in Donovan's hands.By thw ( and i'm not Don fan at all). Cavs use Don in a much better way we use him before. Garland conduct the game where he is much better than Don and Don can be focus on offense and put some effort on defense part as well. It works quite well.

Actually, we won over 75% of our defensive boards (20 DREB to their 4 OREB) and over 25% of the boards in their end (15 OREB to 40 DREB). Its just a weird game where there was 55 rebounds in the Cavs end due to our poor shooting and only 24 in our end due to their good shooting. Against the Bucks we just lost on the effort and energy. This time we got blown out in the efficiency department. The shooting percentage by the Cavs was out of this world and we got outrebounded a ton. These last two games were royal buttkickings.
Did anyone else get the sense watching this game that JC was trying to imitate the worst version of Don? Took a lot of shots with a hand in his face and dribbled to the trees with some awkward finishing attempts... And a lot of it was early shot clock as well.
I just felt like he absolutely did not look to pass the ball at all. Like 0 passing from him to anyone... not even to his man Beasley. And I dont mean assists.. I mean just standard passes. Every time he got the ball in his hands, he put it on the ground without looking around and started his poor mans Don imitation.
Interested in seeing the tracking stats for this game. Last game he already hit a new low with 19 passes made for the whole game (JC beat Rudy Gay by 3 more passes made in that Bucks game)... but my eyeball test tells me this game was far worse.
Yes, play the guy who hasnt even been able to prove he belongs in the G-League over the elite shooter who was having an off night. Brilliant.Hardy needs to play Agbaji more and Beasley less tonight. I take bets on a humble and hungry player being good, over slumping tired one. for at least one game experiment anyway
exactly brilliant. you put the rook in the fire and see if he is worth keeping. Your take aboput hasn't proven anything is pretty stupid since he has not gotten g league run in any fashion to speak of, and is available every game for the Jazz but Hardy keeps shining the bench with Ochai's ***. its pathetic he never plays , and he should at least get a shot since Beasley is clearly in a slump.Yes, play the guy who hasnt even been able to prove he belongs in the G-League over the elite shooter who was having an off night. Rudy Gay still has the best +/- on the team and plays good team defense.
Playing Rudy is part of the famous win/win strategy, where sometimes he gives you a boost and you win and others he drags you down and you lose. Either way, win/win for us. He should play 30+ minutes per night.
