I swear half the time they wait and see if the ball goes in to call a foul or not.

Still a mistery for me that Hardy give min to Gay. not much defense, 20% shooter....must be something i don't see.

Watch the games, it's not hard to see why, especially when you compare him to the other backup options who can play the 4/5.

He is a totally different player this year than his first couple years. He’s awesome defensively.

In this run Gay has grabbed two nice rebounds by putting a body on Poetl.

Gay does a decent amount of "little things" on the court without actually hustling just by being big and having good position. He's not hijacking the offense. He's shooting terribly, but he isnt taking terrible shots (most of the time).

We're starting to get a pretty big sample size of him playing this way. I'm starting to be optimistic he'll be able to keep it up.
