Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I don't see any way the Hawks would do this. They gave up 3 first round picks to get Murray and now they're just going to give up on him after half a season? I'm guessing this guy's just another Monty.
This.

This would make no sense for ATL. On first impression, no financials considered, I’d do this if I’m the Jazz without hesitation.

Lauri, Murray, Collins, Kessler is a very good young/talented core.

Let’s not be negative. I’ll assume this deal is finalized and hope we route Collins to a third team.

I don't even care he broke the rules and cheated, as it pertains to much except it says alot about him as a person, but the fact that he has not been the same player at all since he was doing so I do care about the most.
You can try to spin this I guess, but if the league cannot allow players take advantage of these helpful enhancers, then you cannot suggest that makes him justified either when they don't.
Imo he clearly needed them to play at a high level since he hasn't since, and imo the reason he aint getting the touches is because he doesn't deserve them anymore.
Yeah he not athletic anymore..

I actually think the Collins deal is going down. At the very least, Vando and Beasley are gone. I could see a deal where someone else comes off the fence and gives us a better piece or maybe takes some of our baggage and we go with that deal instead.

The news smells too much like the Sexton rumors, which turned out to be accurate.

Giving up on Sexton this early would be a major mistake IMO. He looks like the perfect bench sparkplug every team needs.

Also not a fan of either Murray or Collins. Murray is a bad shooter who nevertheless takes a ton of shots and doesn't get to the line at all. Not sure what the fascination is with this guy. He's also having a terribly inefficient season, so we'd be overpaying for him. The Spurs never believed in Murray - they let him produce gaudy counting stats on a tanking team by letting him do what he wanted, and then traded him away for a haul of picks.

Plus, Murray would probably be coming in with the expectation of getting his "own team" or something.
