Trade Rumors Involving the Jazz

I still think the Pacers make the most sense for Collins. Pacers can send Duarte and one of their late first this year. Salary doesn’t have to match cuz they are under the cap. I’d guess they’d probably put Smith or Theis in the deal to leave them room to renegotiate and extend Turner.

The team built around Trae Young is not going to acquire JC and Sexton… if we are going to entertain fake insiders let’s pick ones who have ideas that make at least a tiny bit of sense.
yup. sexton simply can't fit with young. clarkson is a better fit than sexton, but still not a good fit. would be a hilariously silly trade for atlanta. having said that, they were dumb enough to send the farm for another horrible fit with young in murray, so who knows what goes through their heads.

I believe Landry Fields is the GM there now… he went to Stanford for 4 years… guessing he’s never done anything as stupid as the trade proposed.

the murray trade was up there - any idiot should know that a non-shooting, ball dominant guard is not who you want to pair with young. and now we're seeing how that's working out for the hawks.

and keep in mind he went to stanford on an athletic scholarship. hell, probably had the smart kids doing all his papers.

Pretty sure they've been pretty good with their starting lineup though. I think the Murray/Trae thing has worked.

Yeah, their starting lineup of Young/Murray/Hunter/Collins/Capela is +10.8 per 100 in 324 minutes. 12th best in the NBA with 100+ minutes (#6 with 200+ minutes).

Shoutout to Sexton/Clarkson/Vanderbilt/Markkanen/Olynyk at +15.7 in 133 minutes.

Denver and GS starting lineups clearly the best big minute lineups in the league.

their starting lineup hasn't been good enough - they need their starting lineup to be like top 5 in the league for as much as they rely on them. they are one of the most disappointing teams in the NBA and trae young is having one of his worst seasons playing alongside murray. it hasn't worked.
