Our defense was actually really good. The only problem was that our offense was so atrocious, it led to offensive oppurtunites for the Lakers because we never made shots to get our defense set-up. Can you really expect a young Jazz team to put down the defensive clamps for an entire game? I was impressed we did it for a half when our offense wasn't giving their defense any support.

Word. I'm counting on this game to restore me from my basketball depression.

Last night was the emotional high of seeing Drew Brees break the record in person and destroy my most hated team (The Falcons) then partying in the French Quarter. Today was the emotional low of fooling myself we would actually come out prepared and at least make it a game. Hopfully tomorrow my Bulldogs pull out the upset and the Jazz beat the Thuggets.
 
Well....after tonight's game it looks like we might get the #1 pick. Favors + Drummond too redundant?...or maybe just ****ing unstoppable :)
 
I like what I see on nbadraft.net right now. They have us picking MKG, but at 12. It looks like our own pick could be higher than the GS pick, however. Hopefully, last night was not a glimpse into what is yet to come.

Barnes is a spot up shooter who benefits greatly from having the best PG in college bball right now. Yes, he is a great shooter, but he still can't create his own shot. I would take K-G over him every single time.

I agree we have enough players already who cant hit a jumper..Gilchrist is more useful on a team that has a bunch of scorers but cant guard anyone like the Kings
 
Day 1 - I want to see MKG in a Jazz uniform but I am starting to worry that he will shine in the NBA combine and move up so we can't pick him. Can we start a rumor saying he has a bad knee or something so his stock will drop and the Jazz can pick him. I was just joking and would never want any harm to come to MKG.
