I don't think that improves my view about your low level of intelligence, historical knowledge, or understanding of the American government.

Actually, the two party system acts as gatekeepers for bad ideas and candidates. This is one of the reasons why American democracy has survived while other democracies around the world have crashed and burned over the last 200 years. Parties should actually be strengthened even more. It's only been in recent years where parties have become weakened that we've seen the decline in candidate quality. The inability for the party to kill off the political life of bad candidates, like Santos and Trump, is one of the major problems our democracy faces.

How did "everyone" in this forum "let me know this" in the 2A thread? I had one person disagree with me and I discussed gun regulation with several others. I'm sorry you don't feel comfortable with different ideas. Is it a competition to shut down discussion when posters are acting respectfully and in good faith? I'm sorry you lack tolerance. Perhaps you'd be better off being more curious and actually reading books to inform yourself? Be better (Be Best!).

I would say "identified" as opposed to "accused".

I really don't like him identifying himself as one thing then campaigning as another. He's crossed the bridge to success and now wants to burn it down.

But again, how can we trust in anything he says as his lying is pathological. The point that some posters on here feel the need to defend Santos is just a sad indictment on our society. The lack of principles and emphasis on power is depressing. What some people tolerate for power is just sad. A democratic society cannot function like this for long with democratic norms being eroded every election cycle. From obstructing the confirmation of a Supreme Court Justice for one year to attempts to overturn elections to circus clowns being empowered because the Speaker really really really wants to remain speaker just isn't a sign of a healthy democracy.

It can be that and it can be stumbling over words. And sometimes working through the one kind like you have here can lead to the other one. My BIL stuttered like you have it here, as a kid, and as he overcame this now he stumbles over words, often repeating the same word or saying a completely different one then correcting himself. I never thought about it but it is quite a bit like Biden.

I'm glad that Biden has been president. Imagine the situation in Ukraine had Donald been president. Would America even be part of NATO right now?

I also like having a president that doesn't need praise and attention every second of everyday. Having a president throw a fit on Twitter every morning or calling into Fox n Friends to receive foreign policy advice and have his ego stroked was so tiresome.
