Booz will be a better defender in Chicago. Having Memo behind him, or playing with Sap was about as weak as the combo gets. Memo is a worse defender than Booz. Noah instantly improves was Booz can do on defense. If he stays injury free, Chicago is a very good fit for Carlos.

Noah doesn't improve Boozer as a defender one bit. If anything his defense will deteriorate with age. Noah will just do a better job in covering for Boozer's flaws because he's a shot blocker.
 
Bulls will be one and done in the playoffs. Everyone anointing Derrick Rose the greatest point guard since sliced bread is a joke to me. Prove something substantial first. His stroke's still suspect. He hasn't won a playoff series yet. I haven't seen him be some great floor leader and facilitator yet. Sorry but there can only be so many great point guards in the league at once. Paul, Deron, Nash, they're great. Rose, Jennings, Wall, etc? Show me something more than solid stats and athleticism.
 
To add insult to amusement, a.m. sports radio is reporting that Kyle Korver is in talks with Chicago, only adding to the irony of CB's claim that defense will be a focus. However, Noah will help to compensate for Boozer's matador D better than Okur did.

I do concede that even though Sloan was supposedly defense oriented, he didn't enforce it for Boozer, but former Spurs assistant Tom Thibodeau might, especially given that Popovich did.

I'm pretty sure that Sloan tried to shove defense into Boozers big dumb head but, I bet, every time Sloan really tried to "enforce" it...Boozer got a boo-boo.... :( poor Boozer. Thibodobadingdong isn't going to get jack **** out of Boozer if Sloan cant.
 
Why in the world are you ripping Carlos Boozer? He doesn't even play for the Jazz anymore. Why not rip on all the guys you still have under contract?
