Fair and honestly admirable. Some major copium going on around these parts lol. The trade was a lot worse than we all expected, but the trades we posted were 100% slam dunk trades. This is not a slam dunk but still positive imo. We are in a better than if we had ended up doing nothing, and the alternatives of getting a combo of 1-2 bad first rounders and/or mediocre prospects/players plus bad salary is not something to be frustrated about. Having said that, I think it’s fair to question if we could have gotten more doing a yard sale to different teams.
One of the things about tanking is that on the surface it makes it almost impossible to “lose” a trade deal when you’re sending out vets. But judgement will come when the Jazz actually have to start winning something. At the end of the day, it doesn’t how many assets you acquire, only the end result matters.
