What's the Next Move?

Remember how nearly every year we had to change point guards? We didn't get stable at the point guard position until we got Conley. Loosing Conley is going to take a long time to get stable again unless we can find a special player. It is going to take a miracle to get that level of play back.
No it won't. Conley was solid but not a high level pg. We can hopefully fill that hole immediately in the draft with Cason Wallace.

His salary this year minus the vet minimum most likely. If we saved a couple extra million on top that would be gravy.
It should be really easy... if he won't give close to the pro-rated minimum then you just let him know he can stay home and rot. He will want a buyout before the playoff eligibility date... and if we make it easy for him it shouldn't be an issue. So Ryan saves a couple bucks.

A couple potential Clarkson teams:

Milwaukee - Allen and Beauchamp
Memphis - Green and a pick
New Orleans - Hayes/Temple/pick
Golden State - Wiseman and Moody
Philadelphia - Korkmaz/Thybulle/Milton/pick

Can we take back DFS into one our exceptions?

The Nets are still pretty far over the LT. Does Joe Tsai want to pay a big bill for a mediocre play in type team?

Would yall give up the Sixers first for DFS?

The Clarkson situation will be interesting to watch. Since we're not hearing much buzz about him, my assumption is he is staying. I'm guessing we have a really good understanding of what he is looking to make in his next contract and if he is looking to stay here. We might be a little foolish to think those things won't change by the offseason, but I'm currently under the impression we are going to throw some money at him, even though that's not what I would do.

As far as KO, I think we've seen that Ainge clearly doesn't value 2nd round picks and he wants cap space next year. I doubt we can get a first for KO, and especially not unless we take back bad salary. It feels like KO isn't going anywhere.
