Probably not. Westbrooks gets Conley off the books, opens some roster spots, and nets a 1st that will likely convey. That space will be used to grease some deals, probably during the draft. So is Ainge going to try and get anything for Westbrook?
five 2nd rounders? So is Ainge going to try and get anything for Westbrook?
That's how capitalism worksAre we certain that it wasn't the same 5 picks traded 20 times?
sign and trade, maybe? It is going to be a bummer to lose Clarkson for nothing in the offseason.
Shut up and be glad it didn't cost us 2 second rounders! It is going to be a bummer to lose Clarkson for nothing in the offseason.
Nice stealth edit.Lame- Jazz kept KO and Clarkson. I hope they don't sign a bunch more old guys off the scrap heap to stupid contracts like they did with Gay.
dont worry he is going to help us into the top 8 of the draft all by his lonesome and return to the Jazz on a sweetheart deal and do it again next season since we don't own any picks if they are not in the high lottery. It is going to be a bummer to lose Clarkson for nothing in the offseason.
its not a first you dumb**** it is a bad first or a high 2nd at best in more than 75% of any models used. The Lakers are one of the largest markets in the sport and will not tank unless they have no chance of winning, and if that is the case they will tank so hard we wont get the damn pick.We traded four players and got one of the only two first round picks traded yet people will still complain.
maybe they would rather have 5 2ndsWe traded four players and got one of the only two first round picks traded yet people will still complain.
Andy Larsen did a great article where he put together a model on why the Jazz got absolute garbage value on this trade - you should pull your head out of your *** and read it sometime. We traded four players and got one of the only two first round picks traded yet people will still complain.
If you can call "major win" to dump a former 2nd overall pick for 2nds that then you use to re-acquire a player you had the season before. Yup, major win. It's already a major W for GSW to offload a huge negative asset Wiseman while not giving up any picks, let alone adding a quality bench player in GPII
