There goes that Lauri three-streak.... Just one good thing with this game: Simone got it going. Dunn was OK. Lauri decent on 2nd half but few turnovers... Tiredness has a lot of reason in it bc our **** spacing forced him to face double and triple teams all night.

I am gonna kill someone if JC or Collin aint back soon. Watch out banana flies!

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccckkkk!!!!!!!
Your priorities are so messed up. Games like tonight are exactly what we want to see and should be eye opening for you when it comes to where we need to get talent wise in the future. If we want to win titles we are going to have to go through this OKC team that isn't even remotely close to reaching its peak. They absolutely blow us away when it comes to the amount of young talent that they have currently versus us and they will be adding Chet and another likely top 10 pick next year.

Didn't we beat this OKC team with SGA just a week ago, before we got obliterated by injuries?

We got lucky that game. Also there is no comparison from a young talent perspective. It isn't even debatable that the thunder blow us away in that department. If we want to compete for titles we still need to add a ton of young talent.

It was a great game, but there were plenty of opportunities for OKC to win and they couldn’t hit the broad side of a building. Jazz looked shaky in both their wins against OKC and SA. With the injuries, they just don’t have enough talent.

I don't think Ainge plans on this to be a long rebuild. The plan seems to be to create a bunch of cap space (which we just did) and wait for an opportunity to package a bunch of picks for a star.

That was the opposite of tanking. He was still trying to win the game down 15+ and that's why Walker was sitting. They needed shooting to get back in the game.
We needed shooting. We were giving turnovers. Walker couldn’t have been worse on the court than the turnover machines

The fourth quarter was hideous. The Jazz got kicked in the teeth to start it and then kept whimpering that they were going to tell their mommy as OKC kept the bullying up.

That may be the goal but in the mean time we need a hell of a lot more young talent. Also if a star does become available there is a damn good chance that we could be competing directly with the thunder to get that star and right now they have the better future assets. Obviously that could change with the rockets making a big free agent acquisition but as of now those picks and swaps are worth more than any of our future assets.

Haven't been able to watch the game yet, and I'm sure there's a good explanation, but can someone tell me how after what I'm seeing here and on Twitter (that THT killed us and Kris Dunn probably deserves to be kept/play more) that THT ended up with a -1 (best on the team) in +/- and Dunn ended up -24 (worst per minute rate on the team)?

The +\- stat isn’t the best indicator for who played well or not. THT was a bumbling idiot out there with turnover after turnover. He also didn’t play much in the second half. I don’t know if he was injured or just benched. But OKC blew the game wide open after he left. THT was awful as our lead guard, and had 6 TO’s. Dunn definitely looked much better.

THT was playing with the starters and Dunn with our obliterated bench +/- really isn’t a good star in terms of tracking how individuals played

the next closest starter was -13; all the others were close to or worse than -20. So I'm not sure this adds up.
