2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Jett is staying in school 9 out of 10. Needs to get stronger and with his father the coach in his corner, his odds of going top 10 in 24 are almost a given.

Jett needs to get that contract as soon as possible. If he spends another year being soft as Charmin in college, people are going to realize that is exactly who he is. He's the one 10-20 player I absolutely want no part of.

So say the Jazz draft Flip... where is he getting minutes? And what is the opportunity cost to drafting him?

I saw a ways back in this thread that Flip could be Olynyk. Well we have him, and I'm not passing a chance at plugging a greater need or potentially better prospect for that.

You gotta be a pretty ****ing incredible scorer to be a big that can't guard the perimeter or the rim. And the returns diminish wildly after having one of them, IMO.

If he's there with the Sixers pick, great. I wouldn't draft him top-20 for this team, though.

Couple things here:

- You don’t draft Flip in the lottery if you think his ceiling is Olynyk.
- He can protect the rim.
- I think he would be awesome as the 4 in a lineup where Lauri is the 5.

Also, people are projecting him in the 20’s right now. I don’t think a single person thinks we should take him in the top-10. If we’re picking like 9/15 I would absolutely take him at 15.
