Will Josh Howard replace Gordon Hayward in the Starting Lineup??

Howard may have scored some points last night, but it took him way too many shots to do it.

also what was up with that ridiculous flagrant on James Anderson?

I liked the way Howard played defense last night, and didn't even help the guy up. That's the kind of toughness the rest of these guys need.

Plus when they showed the replay, Josh didn't even touch the guy..... and clearly was going for the ball.
Not a flagrant.

Hell you never know, maybe Josh Howard will be the guy that finally speaks up for this team and tries to be some sort of a leader.

Hayward cant guard a 3 but you want him to guard 2guards,lmao. Try to trade him while he still has value. I know you utah people want your great white hope but he is not it period.

If he does... Then Ty Corbin's missed completely the point of this season.

The Jazz's management need to make it clear to Ty, you won't be fired for losing THIS YEAR. You will and should however, be fired for not playing and developing the younger players.

If the Jazz continue to have to keep paying him, he's not gonna be fired until his contract is over.

Heck, they couldn't even bring themselves to stop paying Sloan every time his contract was over, even when he had thrown his in-game coaching to the wolves--er, the matadors (Boozakur et al) ...

Howard has been playing in his old form. I say Jazz give him a huge extension to make up for underpaying him this year. I'm thinking 4 years @ 9 to 11 million each.

Extensions like that are reserved for Raja and Raja alone.

Agree. If Burks is the real deal then Hayward's future is at the 3. Howard is here on a one year deal to show he can play and raise his value with another team. The young guys should not be sitting just so Howard can do this. Winning a couple of extra games is not the point of this season.

You are joking right. I am assuming you are. No way he should take time from Hayward and Burks.

I won't let Bell go for at LEAST a case of beer.
Now now, you take the money you save to buy beer.

Anyway, I like what I've seen from Howard and am to the point of saying 'welcome to the team'. He may be a bit of a shoot first player, but he is one of the few players that can create for himself and has experience on the court. I don't know if the Jazz keep him after this year, but if Hayward, Millsap and Evans learn how to play the SF from him, than I'm all for him being a major contributor on the team. (Don't really care about CJ, I figure he'll be with Deron next year anyway.)

josh is playing great, he has no fear going to the rim or trying to score from anywhere else
I would rather see josh at 3, and hayward at 2 , and bring bell from bench. Bell is not very bad, i dont see a problem unless he takes more than 15 min per game. But i think we should trade CJ miles for sure, he has more trade value than bell and he is really of no value for us anymore, just trade him and give the mins he has to burks, at least he has potential

As much as it would kill me to see it, I think CJ might not be what the team needs. He has plenty of talent, but he wants to start except he isn't consistent at all, and doesn't accept a spot on the bench well (his play goes down). Players need to realize that while a team is required to have 13 players, only 5 of them start. That's only 38% of the team. (Paul needs to learn this lesson as well) More than half of the team will come off the bench, and many of them will be very talented players. I wish the NBA would stop pushing the starting player concept as hard, or maybe cut back on the number of required players.

Oh, Howard. He's more talented than CJ is right now, and he's not even back in NBA shape yet. The only thing that CJ has over Howard is his 3 point shot, and that is FAR from consistent. (oh, and CJ is much younger too, but how long do you give a guy to become consistant?)
