Will Josh Howard replace Gordon Hayward in the Starting Lineup??

Well, Gordon is struggling at SF. It would make sense to start Howard at SF and Hayward at 2. And trade Bell for bag of chips.

Bell for a bag of chips and CJ for a ham sandwich like I have said and we almost have a full lunch. We may never get a better deal for those two...

If Hayward gets benched for Howard, I'm done with this team til the coaching staff changes. I'll still post on the board but I won't watch games or look at box scores or waste my time caring about the wins and losses. To bench a guy who busts his *** and produces and plays with some semblance of confidence over a veteran scrub like Bell would be ludicrous and it would be a complete waste of my time to invest emotional energy into a team led by a moron like Corbin who, if he made this move, may be leading the team not only down a cyclic path of losing but even worse, one where the youngsters become disenchanted, so much so that they pack their bags before their first contracts are even up, thus making this collection of young talent, pointless.

Another good game by Howard, and a not-so-good one from Hayward...

Corbin said he can "maybe" see a point soon where Howard cracks first five. Likes him off the bench now and knows he's going to get better.

Looks like we might see this. I can only hope that they move Hayward to the 2 if Howard starts

Thats what Im hoping for. I might fly to SLC and throw a balloon filled with pizza-sauce at Corbin if he benches Hayward and starts Bell instead.

That is quite a sentence.

We should keep Hayward in. He is a playmaker and putting him on the bench would have a negative effect. Howard is an awesome guy off the bench especially when he has something to prove.

Dirk Nowitzski said this year, with the compressed schedule, they are going to throw a lot of people out on the floor. They are either going to sink or swim. Right now, Hayward is sinking. He is losing confidence in his slow release jumper and he's a tweener. Too slow to guard 2's and not strong enough to guard 3's. When Hayward plays with Favors, they can efficiently run the pick 'n roll and make something good happen. I think if Ty wants to keep Hayward's confidence up, they should run P'N'Roll with more than just Favors.

Josh Howard came to the Jazz for a reason.
He wanted to be on a team full of young guys that he thought had the potential to be a winning team.
For all we know, Howard could return almost to full form and actually be the star on this team (of course pending a Jefferson trade for maybe Iguodala or something).
Of course I think Hayward and Favors are their stars of the future..... Howard might be their star of today.

Extensions like that are reserved for Raja and Raja alone.

I beg to differ. CJ is due up for a big contract before Bell, and will steal the money first.
Poor Bell. Maybe he will end up overpaid on some young team, providing leadership to them after this contract is up?
