Knicks vs Cavs 1st Round Series (Mitchell Getting *** Whooped by Brunson Season 2)

Of course you (and many of him like you and others) want to move on. You guys were so freaking wrong it was amazing.
The only thing I was wrong about was how good the Wolves would be.

But I'm out for a while again unless somebody new with a different perspective can shed some light. Unless y'all ran them off like you ran off so many before.
Can't speak for others but I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've talked about Gobert this entire season outside of instances where you'd show up solely to clown on him.

But always end up playing the clown.

I bet on CLE in 6 being the victor but not because of the back court. Mobley and Allen are pretty elite defensive

Actually kind of hoping Donovan goes off on them and makes Stephen A Smith even more mad about being a Knicks fan. Yeah Don was atrocious defensively last year in Utah. But the front office should have done more than sit on their hands post Clippers series to try to adjust a roster that was clearly broken defensively.

Im taking the cavs in 5 or 6

Yeah, I watched this season from afar. It was an exercise in futility. Some bright spots only made worse by actually not tanking. The entire year was stupid ever since the Donovan Mitchell trade.

Now other threads are debating trading for Dame or Trae. I mean c'mon, we had a better option already in hand.
hard to tank when Markkanen plays at an mvp level
I am a hypocrite. I didn't expect the Jazz to be stupid enough to trade Donovan Mitchell. So yeah, I said people should stop crying about Rudy and to just wait to see how irrelevant he is elsewhere.

I'm always going to step up for Donovan because so many of you got on the pro-Rudy hate-Don bandwagon based off unwarranted excuses. So yeah, I'm a hypocrite.
In your opinion it was stupid. I can’t say with any actuality it was smart or stupid, all I know is how it seemed. Don didn’t give good effort that season or in the playoffs and his actions in the off-season made it sound like he wanted out. He’s a good dude and did the jazz solid by not talking. Also we got a **** tone of picks Sexton I love, he’s a good player and oh yeah, we got Markkanen, so regardless of how dumb a move it was we got freaking Markkanen along with a good young solid player in Sexton and a **** ton of assets to build around Markkanen it would’ve been harder to do that with Mitchell and much less assets.
Rudy better have accolades to show for the 7 years we built the entire franchise around him.

Too bad he never carried us in the playoffs. Ever. Not once.

Rudy's best chance of helping this franchise win meaningful playoff series will be through the draft picks we got by trading him.
Mitchell has great individual performances in the playoffs but they carried us nowhere. For the record… I wanted both Mitchell and Gobert gone right after we lost to Dallas.
But I'm out for a while again unless somebody new with a different perspective can shed some light. Unless y'all ran them off like you ran off so many before.
My god you come in here give me my LoPo vs Cy blowup then leave again. Have some balls
And I'll take Lauri all day every day over donovan. Better size and more versatility on both sides of the court.
Agree. Id rather have him and all the assets than both Gobert and Mitchell.

@LoPo you make it hard not to argue against Mitchell. You’re too damned irrational. All you do is criticize Gobert. People rightfully criticized Mitchell for his play in that series, but not you, when posters were showing highlights of Mitchell clearly not giving effort and being flat foot as his man easily drove by him you countered with videos of 7-1 Gobert trying to stay in front of the speedy Brunson as if Gobert is expected to stay in front of him. That’s completely irrational and after that no one took you seriously.

I'm completely rational and consistent: I've literally said the same thing over and over. It's like I'm looking for someone to own that I was right so I guess that might make me irrational since nobody seems to have the balls.

Donovan Mitchell met with Utah Jazz newly appointed Coach Hardy BEFORE he was traded. It's a damn shame we didn't just trade for Lauri who I think is a perfect compliment to Donovan Mitchell in almost every way. Cleveland was clearly committed to Mobley and Allen as their front court. For me, that would have been the chess move. Maybe it costs us a Minny pick, but Donovan, Lauri, Kessler and other intriguing pieces would have projected to be better than anything we have had since Stock and Malone.

Now, we are left hoping and praying we defy the odds in the lottery or pick another couple gems in the late lottery, etc. Trading for Luka, Trae, or similar isn't realistic. Trading for Dame is dumb and also unrealistic.

You're the guy at pickup who peeks inside the gym before paying hoping that the competition isn't too tough.
You're posting on the internet from Alabama. I'm just hoping you can form complete sentences and maintain internet connection.
