Roster Building From Here - FA and Summer of 2023

I would like the Jazz to bring Justin Jackson, Josh Jackson, Frank Jackson, Chandler Hutchison and Jabari Parker to camp on non-guaranteed deals and see if they have any tread left on the tires.
 
One of the first priorities I would have is how to turn Clarkson (and Olynyk if possible) into something more future facing.

I wonder if Brooklyn might be interested in a SnT for one of their later 1sts or if packaging him with #16 or #28 could move them up.

Timing won’t work on that. FA has to open before a sign and trade can happen.

A couple trades I’ve been thinking and posted at times here…

28 and KO to Atlanta for Collins and 15.

28 to Miami for 18 and Oladipo (1 year left at 9M but likely out for the year)

Duncan Robinson into our space for 18 and a future pick… maybe we add 28 here. It’s worth way more than a swap but I also think Miami tries to trade for a star using future picks… so may not work.

Brooklyn might do something around Harris or DFS as they need to get off some salary. THT and 28 for Harris and 21 maybe?

You can work the timing on a cap space thing but would be really difficult to do it on a sign and trade. You could get JC to opt in and tell the other team he will extend off that number I suppose.
