2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Who do we expect to be there that won't be there at 9?

Potentially Cam, Ausar, Jarace or Tay Hen.

I’m still very high on Wallace but if in the process you identify one or 2 of those as super high level/all star level dudes, that’s totally worth your worst of 3 picks in one draft to get someone you see as a franchise changer.

Again, that’s only if in workouts etc you fall in love with 1-2 dudes in that range and you might miss without.

I would say there is a decent chance two of those guys might be available there.

Who is the player in this draft that is generally thought to go late first round or later that could have star upside? And not guys who have hype like GG/Bilal, but more upperclassmen/not on most people's radars to potentially go top 20.

I'm gonna say Jaime Jaquez

Still wondering if the Jazz could extend and trade Clarkson somewhere (Lakers/Nets) and take back a pick at #17 or #21. Jazz could offer #28 along with Clarkson. The target should be Bilal, imo. Trade would complete after July 1. Nets could get a big like Nnaji or Bona, while Clarkson replaces Kyrie.
Clarkson and 16 for 10?

I think Cam has all star upside, but I'm not sure those other guys do. I also don't think Cam would be a great fit for our team.

And no, I would not trade picks in this draft to move up. I like the depth of this class and it's important to have those guys in development.

Nope, no way I’m offering #28 just to move up 2 spots when we could grab the likes of Maxwell Lewis at #28.
It’s the 28th pick. I’m guessing there’s a 5-10% chance that player is even just a role player? So why not?
Dude could make an All-Star roster in a Jazz jersey and people here will still be complaining that he's too/not enough of something
that’s the definition of being a fan though. That’s the case in every fan base.
