2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I think my acceptable picks at #9 are any of the wings forwards in the top 8-9… Amen and Scoot obviously… then Black, Wallace, Dick, Miller… I think the other guys are a bit of a reach.

These mocks are crazy. I see us staying at 9 and drafting someone solid.

16 and 28... good question.

I also expect at least one offseason trade for some proven talent (who? no clue! But we cleared cap space for a reason!)

Btw No Ceilings has a film interview with Hendricks that came out today. I really like these interviews they do, probably the best insight you will get into personality/mindset for these dudes. Was what turned me on to Dillon Jones because he really stood out from a IQ perspective

Wonder where OKC is looking to move up. If they really do love Bilal, maybe they are trying to jump Orlando at 11 (also seems like a very Bilal team).

Could Utah deal with them? Get our 2024 pick back, trade back to 12 and grab JHS. OKC has so many assets you can probably add more, whether it be another pick in 2024 or a handful of 2nd rounders. Last year OKC traded 3 future 1st to New York for the 11th pick.

If Walker/Whitmore aren't there at 9, I would think about it

Taylor Hendricks has a twin brother who redshirted at UCF but is only 6'5.

I would be livid
Part of the reason he went there is they would take both guys… but yeah… I’d be like WTF? Mom was you given him seconds?

I floated this a while ago… unless Hendricks, Walker, or Thompson fell… I’d do this type of deal. I think Wallace/Black/Dick will be there if we move back… JHS is a 16th pick type of dude.

If we get JHS out of our first pick I’m turning off the Telly.
