What's polar opposite? I definitely think they get their's in bit different ways, but they arent that dissimilar.JHS and Brunson couldn’t be more opposite as prospects.
Without an obvious star on the board, the Jazz could value Dick's sure-thing shooting and look to mirror the Miami Heat's success by loading up on shot-making. Utah could be drawn to the strategy of building with the firepower/spacing provided by Dick and Lauri Markkanen alongside Walker Kessler's offensive efficiency and rim protection.
Here's a funny idea: get Grady and Hawkins then just sign Russell Westbrook off the scrap heap.I'm still not a huge fan of taking Dick at 9, but I have to admit this roster building strategy does kind of intrigue me.
There was only one realistic option in what Cy said as far as who “they” could be.
He doesn't get enough credit for being as complete as he is. Korver with some glue-guy ability. There's a lot to like about Dick. Had a pretty good freshman year at Kansas, a place where not many freshman perform well.

Both are pretty average athletes by NBA standards who use craft and skilled off the dribble shooting to do their damage. Jamal is a bit more 3pt based and Brunson mixes in more post stuff, but a lot of that is because of the context of their team and Brunson's game has expanded to more 3pt volume since going to New York.
Jett Howard isnt a blackhole. He's a pretty good playmaker. Howard had 11.4 attempts per game with 2 APG. Dick had 10.9 shots w/ 1.7 APG.He's kinda the anti-Jett. They're comparable shooters, but Jett has on-ball chops and is kind of a black hole and sucks at all the connecting parts while Dick doesn't get enough credit for his IQ, passing/vision, transition play, and hustle but has real questions about his on-ball ability.
