2023 NBA Draft Megathread

As long as Coulibaly goes in the lottery, and as long as someone in the top 15 takes Lively, then one of Keyonte George, Jalen Hood-Schifino, or Cason Wallace will be available at #16. Only downside is that the Jazz will have no control over which player that is.

I think the Jazz are going to actively hunt players they want rather than passively wait and see who falls to them.

Adam Spinella is rethinking Bilal. He's mostly a defensive prospect right now, and his shooting is questionable, but other players in the mid-late lottery have that same issue. Seems he has trouble scoring if he doesn't get all the way to the rim. He's very young and should still be looked at as a project.

Hendricks at #9

And

Keynote at #16

Would totally make my day, week, month, year, decade.

JHS does not belong in that conversation.

We should trade 16 to Dallas for Bertans/10. Take whoever out of the top-9 is left and then grab Dick at 10.
If that’s all it takes then HELL yeah.

Like, their situation is so weird and I don’t know who they’re hoping to draft there that will be a difference maker this season. It kinda sounds like Lively is who they might draft but they probably can get him at #16 anyway. I’m not sure Bertans gets it done alone since their cap situation is not in dire straits, I think it would take an actual player going their way. I’m not trying to get rid of Agbaji but that would make sense.

This is unassisted FG’s made at the rim (not including putbacks) per 40 mins. A way to see who is a good creator and finisher at the rim.

A couple things that stand out:

Whitmore is awesome (shocker)

Black/Bufkin/Wallace/Podz looking good

Hendricks/Walker/Dick/Jett/JHS below Walsh is a yikes
