it does somewhat, since everyone in the NBA that knows he cannot offer any spacing at all,will just game plan against it. Easy to stop a team that has that weak of a link offensively. So he will be either limited to playing a secondary ball handler off the bench, on a team with veteran leaders and on ball savants, until he develops a decent pull up game. Or he will get overpicked to be a point guard by some desperate lottery team, hoping for a long term developmental tank commando, for the next 3 seasons. Are the Jazz really going to go that direction with the Finnisher already here and a few other basically win sooner than later roster? I don't know. But if they do, LM is gone by his own accord
