2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Bilal Coulibaly's agent Bouna Ndiaye is also the agent for the highest paid athlete in the history of France, Rudy Gobert.

So much of the messaging around the Jazz has been they arent looking to maximize this year, but 2-3 years down the road.

That would point towards Bilal as a draft pick.

I guess it depends more on their evaluation of those guys than mine. If its Walker Hendricks I'm more likely just to make the pick. Ausar I like enough to just make that pick. If they are factoring Bilal in there as the 10th member of the top 9 then move back maybe.
This...

I have heard how many people don't love Ausar and Amen on this board. I have also heard plenty of hate for Bilal.

So, how about a scenario where those two are left at 9 but all the other top 8 are gone. I think that's not just possible but probable.

Do you take Ausar? Bilal? Or neither?

Ausar is considered by most to be a top 9 prospect. But I am not sold on him. I probably still take Ausar but I would listen closely to trade options for teams trying to trade up and settle with Bilal and an alternative. PS. I am not sold on Bufkin.

Bilal is two years away from being two years away from being out of the league.

Ok Bilal is a hot mess when going ISO but ...but ... that is a common problem if you are not elite offensively. He is young and he could develop that, he just had a huge growth spurt maybe he gets really good when his body stabilizes. Maybe he is AK-47 with a touch better offensive game.
