2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Also said we are talking about moving to 6 or 7 too for Anthony Black. Said we are being active. I would guess those deals depend on how the board falls.

I would guess that Black is a little higher on our board than Cam/Ausar. Could be smoke and we want Walker... all I really truly believe is we are trying to move up.
.
I hope we're able to move up and get our guy, whether that's Black or Walker or whoever. If not, I'm more than fine keeping 9 and 16...that way we could grab a guard and a wing, and I really think someone good is going to fall to 9, maybe even Cam.

That sounds like awful value for Indiana.

Present picks are more valuable than future picks, and this draft in particular is supposed to be deep as hell compared to next. Why trade 29 and 32 of this year's draft for 40 and something likely in the ball park of 26-30 in next year's draft?

Because they have so many picks this year like 5 before the trade happened.

He missed his freshman year of highschool because of a broken leg so it may have to do with that.
Yeah, maybe. FWIW, fractures not on a joint are almost nothing in the hierarchy of injuries with long term implications. Severe sprains are worse. Cam seems to be functioning just fine.

I’ll just throw out there that maybe it is the thumb. I am having a thumb issue and am not even positive what I did but it’s been nagging for months. It’s ounce for ounce the most important part of our musculoskeletal system and it hangs out, too, so it might be a problematic healing process or something.

It's the knee, not thumb, from what I've been told
