2023 NBA Draft Megathread

Yeah, that’s what started this whole argument. I said sign me up and guys said that was too much.
We kind of need to find some opportunities to utilize those future picks. Lots of time and opportunity though. If they have A GUY then package a pick to move up and get him.

i think it's too much. that doesn't mean it is. we're all just sharing our opinions. i think that 3rd tier (assuming wemby is his own tier), is picks 4-9 and giving up a future first that could be a lottery pick isn't worth it for a relatively similar player. you might think walker or black or whoever the target might be is a tier above. that's fine.

again, i could be wrong - maybe they trade up for walker and he becomes a 10x all-star, while the 2025 draft is ****.

Explain that logic
Well all draft cycle we've heard Tony and others talk about the "top 9" referring to the consensus top 9. Bilal is not part of that. Now maybe he's like there is Scoot/Wemby/Miller/Amen gonna be gone and we thing there are 9 other players. Just that phrase makes me think they view the top 9 as the consensus top 9... but also Bilal could be in that group.

Oh, I took it as they are considering 9 guys who could be available at 9. You obviously take out Scoot/Amen/Miller/Wemby. So the added 4 would be Bilal, Bufkin, JHS, and George?
