2023 NBA Draft Megathread

I just cant stop thinking that Bilal will turn out like Frank
basically the guard version of bilal. forget about the fact they are both french, so many other similarties. great size for his position, athletic, great defender, similar production in the french pro league, etc. doesn't mean bilal can't or won't be more successful than frank, but the similarities are pretty stark.

definitely another cautionary tale - you don't learn to shoot, your defense can't sustain you.

Not my first choice but in a situation where Hendricks and Walker are gone, I think Danny could be looking at Lively right before Dallas at 10, having value for trade purposes at 9 if there.
Example : GSW sends Kuminga 19th overall and Rollins to the Jazz for Lively and Rudy

Frank was not athletic or explosive and that was known about him before the draft. I think that’s a stark difference because Bilal’s athleticism is easily one of his biggest selling points.

Shooting is a concern….but compared to the other top 10 prospects. Yeah there are a lot of questionable shots. If you could tell which one could shoot it would be easy.

So weird that in today's game/era that there are so many non shooters going in the top 10 of a draft. Blows my mind

Probably the guy from the Tom Waits album Frank's Wild Years. Or Ntilinka.
Ahhhhh thanks now the conversation makes a lot more sense.

One of my biggest fears is getting a player that does not work hard to get better. I have tried to watch Bilal and see if he has that attitude. Can't say yes or no but I see some of the most potential of anyone in the draft.

It is not easy finding someone that playes defense but he does that and seems to have good basketball IQ.

Anyone else seen the #16 & 28 for #10 rumor? I would be down for that depending on the board. I do think we're in for some surprises though.
