Indy didnt want more picks this year. They were already working to sell off their picks. They werent even trying to package picks to move up. They wanted future capital.I wouldnt call it a war... if the winner only ponied up a couple seconds... that's a slap fight. I am guessing it would have been like 9/16 for 7/26... Woj seemed to indicate we had investigated trading those picks and had an opportunity to do so. It could have been 9/28 to get to 7 but Indy already had to pawn off some picks in that range.
Also, this is why @infection and I harp on stock piling second round picks... that inventory is helpful in winning some minor deals.
