Still think Daniel Theis is the guy to look at if you’re trying to win. He gives you a proven vet at a decent price and with the right kind of team control. Jazz have to do it by Thursday if they want to trade for him though.

Theis is a huge upgrade over Carey or Samanic IMO.

Why by Thursday?

He fits what we want to do with this team really well to he’s big and he shoots

He doesn't shoot well though. And he's a terrible defender, specially for someone his size. Hard to believe someone so huge can be so easily bodied by smaller players. And he's completely lacking in awareness on the defensive end, often missing assignments and gambling for blocks. I wouldn't want him on the Jazz.

Bol Bol is fun… perfect victory cigar player… cut Luka… 13th men don’t play anyway.

It gives us another expiring contract and another easily tradable contract. Both guys also fit the mold of a trade deadline target for playoff teams if they get hot.
Sexton is better than both of them so it is pointless to trade for them without getting a 1st back. I would much rather just role with Sexton though. I think he puts up 18pts, 6asts and 3 rbs a game as a starter this year on great percentages and is the perfect age for our current timeline.

I agree the first is what would make this deal worth it.
