The trade exception lasts a year from the Rudy Gobert deal, which was on 7/6. If they don’t use it by then, they lose it. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least bit to see an unexpected move by DA to use the trade exception before they no longer have that option. As long as they operate below the luxury tax, they should use their trade exception and their room exception. At least that’s my opinion.
I think Pat just had off year. He still a hard-nosed defender who can hit a shot and performs in the playoffs

Amen and FVV work together fine. I don't see any huge conflicting thing there other than the fact that FVV shoots too much.
