What's new

I'm not in favor of tanking per say. What I want is the rookies to take a very large role in moving the team forward. I do not want to gut the team and ship the vets out just because. However if something comes up that makes us better than yes pull the trigger and make the trade. I would love the playoffs if the young guys have a big role in getting them there.

What I want to is to truly see what the Jazz have so they know where they need to go.
That's a reasonable stance. I want the Jazz mentality to be to win as many games as possible using the assets they have. If that means playing vets I'm all for it. If the young guys earn the minutes and send the vets to the bench that's even better. I don't believe in giving guys minutes just because they are young. If they're not ready, such a scenario can hurt their development more than it helps. There are posters on this board who have been preaching that we should ship out the vets and tank the season. Fortunately for us the Jazz FO does not think that way.

Raise your hand (or at least your pixels) if you dreamed the Jazz might be tied for the longest winning streak in the league by the end of the second week after watching them get blown out by more than fifteen points three separate times in the first week.

What's that dude eating?
I believe that Corbin is eating crow--for thinking that playing Bell (and CJ) for 20+ minutes when they weren't producing (and thus didn't merit it) is good coaching.

Since then, it appears that such crow has been dislodged. Kudos, Corbin.

If Bell starts ringing again, ring up his minutes a bit.

at least he seems willing to eat crow and rethink his decisions before it's too late. it's refreshing.
