That's a reasonable stance. I want the Jazz mentality to be to win as many games as possible using the assets they have. If that means playing vets I'm all for it. If the young guys earn the minutes and send the vets to the bench that's even better. I don't believe in giving guys minutes just because they are young. If they're not ready, such a scenario can hurt their development more than it helps. There are posters on this board who have been preaching that we should ship out the vets and tank the season. Fortunately for us the Jazz FO does not think that way.I'm not in favor of tanking per say. What I want is the rookies to take a very large role in moving the team forward. I do not want to gut the team and ship the vets out just because. However if something comes up that makes us better than yes pull the trigger and make the trade. I would love the playoffs if the young guys have a big role in getting them there.
What I want to is to truly see what the Jazz have so they know where they need to go.
