Just to clarify, Lauri is not hitting his shots (4/11) and has more turnoners (3) than usual and a few sloppy ones at that.

Imo Finland is getting the ball to Lauri a bit too late so he constantly has to rush.

Yeah none of the ball carriers are driving threats. Its too big of a handicap against a quality team like Australia.

Lauri looks much sharper now but so does Australia. Dedex played a really good 3rd quarter, drove 1on1 a lot and made smart decissions.

To be fair, Lauri played much better in the 2nd half despite scoring less and Australia running away with it.

All PGs were the weakest point imo (Maxhuni and Seppälä were bad as well). They got burned on defense, fouled and gave tons of FTs, missed their shots and couldnt create for others.

I mean if your 3 PGs combine for 5 points and 9 assists, its hard to win.

Well if Giddey and Mills keep playing the way they did then its not impossible. At one point it felt like Mills cannot miss, and Giddey was just such a steady floor general with timely baskets and near triple double help stats.
