Utes 2011 Football Discussion

Salty -

Apologies for the misread, that was piss-poor on my part.

The rest of it though...

Think about it man... Someone goes out of their way to sneak in some beer. Obviously getting anymore than a few beers in is extremely difficult to do without getting caught.

I think I recall you saying you used to drink beer, so you probably already know that 2 or 3 beers will almost certainly be gone before the end of a 3 hour game.

And in the event someone is drunk enough to do it and still has beer left, so they actually pour beer on the Hall family... Someone, at least ONE person is going to come forward as a witness and help security track them down. Heck, someone in the Hall family would probably see the perpetrator and assist security in their apprehension.

Or we could go with Hall's version. In a crowd of about 50,000 people, with several thousand BYU fans in the mix, not one person saw anyone pouring beer all over some family members of the BYU QB, even though beer is banned from the stadium and would have needed to be snuck in, likely 3 hours prior, and then somehow not drank during this huge game, and security all around...

Much can be discussed about whether or not beer makes its way into RES, but there are really only 2 reasons I don't believe Max Hall's story.

1. No corroborating evidence or witnesses.

2. It's Max Hall.

So predictable... and pathetic.

LOL, TroutBum neg repped me for the same thing. How funny! Now you know what it was like when Utah fans never heard the ending of Harline is still open and George is still running!

According to your sig, 54-10 is the new 1984, but that's really not the case. 1984 happened forever ago and while your season was impressive, the national championship win wasn't against a 6-5 team! 54-10 happened last year! You got **** on. No way of spinning it, 44 points on your own turf! You could say it's the new 1984 if 28 years down the road we're still talking about that

Man, the lack of reading comprehension amongst BYU fans seems to be spreading. For the record, I never said that sneaking beer into RES was impossible, or doesn't happen. I simply pointed out that there are no beer sales at RES. Scat gave the example of a woman getting caught trying to sneak in a 24 pack of beer and getting caught. I'm sure he didn't give that example in an attempt to help make my point, but it kinda does. It would stand to reason that anybody who's pouring beer on opposing fans at or near the end of a football game probably had ALOT of beer to begin with. That's not very likely. As Salty pointed out, any beer that is successfully brought into RES has most likely got to be in pretty small quantities. Add to that the complete and utter lack of witnesses to this supposed incident that happened out in the open surrounded by thousands and simple logic leads us to the only reasonable conclusion: Max Hall and/or his family are lying, and that my friends is not very classy.

it's not worth discussing with you retards, but if you objectively look at it, the chances of Hall lying are slim, and the chances of some drunk jagoff pouring beer on their hated rival's family is pretty fat.

But you guys go ahead and believe what you want to believe.

Didn't Hall accuse an Arizona fan of doing the same thing to his family while at Arizona State?

So you believe if a tree falls in the woods, and nobody is there to hear it, it does not make a sound?

Did I hear the sproink noise cognitive dissonance makes when you wrote this?

I actually believe that it doesn't make a sound. There has to be a receptor of some kind to take that sound in, and if there is none, then there really isn't a sound.

Who says there wasn't one, it just didn't happen to be a person.

If a squirrel is in the forrest, or a bird, or a microphone, or any other type of receptor, then there will be a sound. If there is not, then there is nothing to absorb the waves, therefore, no sound is made.
