It's not that he has to learn to play outside in, he did that on college. He needs to learn to play from the wings more and not as a primary PNR option. It's basically the same adjustment Collins had to make when Atlanta started playing a traditional rolling 5. You are generally less directly involved in plays and it can lead to you "floating" more if you don't know how to play off of that

I thought he played more inside out on college as some have reference that he was a back to basket player. Just based on the discussions here really.

He was not a back to the basket player in college. He probably did it from time to time cu it's college, but that wasn't his gaem

This is correct. Taylor set a lot of screens at the top in college. Did a fair amount of standing on the perimeter while his guards “cooked”.

All those threes were nothing but net. His shot is pure. Great looking stroke. That was my favorite thing about him coming into the draft. I loved the thought of him playing the stretch 4 with that great looking (and efficient) 3 point shot.

Yeah his shot looks really good and effortless. The Jazz value him for his potential to be the type of player NBA teams today are looking for - 3-point shot, defensive skills, length, will get much stronger.

That driving one hand dunk on the baseline was very impressive this game was greatly needed to build confidence going forward and finally a look at the players to thought he was pre draft

He got from the top of the three point line to a dunk on one dribble. Combine that with a smooth 3 point shot that isn't relegated to the corners and you start to see why he was a lottery pick. . .
