2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Funny exercise/question that someone posed in and that kind of encapsulates this draft.

Name a player that will for sure be drafted in the top 3. Pick one and just one.

I'm not that tuned in, but Sarr seems like the safest bet to me.

I’d prolly guess Buzelis but I could see any of the three named slipping outside the top 3. Most years you can name at least 1 surefire dude. Some you can pick 2.

I’d argue if Weaver is in charge he’d be most likely to take Sarr… lol… he loves non shooting bigs.

If Detroit gets #1 I would think they would trade it. There's nothing in this draft that helps them.

What's the latest on Lebron joining whatever team drafts Bronny? Is Lebron still a free agent this year? Is Bronny still likely to get drafted? Would someone draft Bronny just to get Lebron?

LeBron has a player option for next year so yes he could become a free agent. I think a team would absolutely draft Bronny just to get LeBron. As far as how good of a prospect Bronny is I’m not convinced he’s a first round prospect.

They might move back and get stuff or vets to do it and I’d understand that if that’s what you meant. Risacher would seem to fit their needs best and I’d guess he’s somewhere in the 4-7 mix.

I think any rookie you put in that mix is going to suck unless they are Him.
