My original comment about Sensabaugh was a joke because he has the highest usage but obviously it's just because of a small sample size. I didn't even know he had entered a game at all before seeing that.

The detector comment was talking about how I think you missed that I was being sarcastic in my original comment. Sarcsam detector? Thought that was a thing people say.

Here is after 10 games. Biggest change for last season is less 2s more 3s so far. And less FTs. I am still a bit worried is it just bc of guards and his threes going in so he does not bother to go harder inside... or is it that he can not as much - has not been going in that hard . We will see when his three goes cold -if it ever goes again though. I am having these 10 games check points added.

EDIT: The longest streak with 3 or more made 3pt shots last season was 7 games long which Lauri achieved twice. This season it is at 9 games rn.

If he really is banged up I would hold him out until either December 8th against Clippers or maybe even until the 12th. We should beat both Memphis and Portland without him. If he is healthy though let him play, since that is what he prefers.

It was announced that he will miss this road trip (@MEM and @MIN) and will be re-evaluated after.
 
Hope Kessler still play well and back to his best. Exciting to see what he can do against DPOY Rudy current level. Should be nice to watch,

Then you should definitely hold him out against Portland to give him a lot of extra rest. Then you can decide about Clippers on the 8th but maybe just give him a nice long break since he didnt get one this summer.

Lets not get complacent just because he isnt having a historical efficiency season. The man is still balling, and proving last season wasnt a fluke.

Despite being an All-star, MIP and close call for All-NBA, its pretty obvious it hasnt gone to his head. He is still humble and plays hard for the team and Hardy, and only cares about winning. I think having a #1 with no ego is a massive reason why we get great contributions from so many different guys.

Many of his counting & advanced stats are better than last season. He's just not getting the hype now.

Lauri's playing slightly less minutes this year, but per 36 his numbers are almost identical. IMO, the most interesting difference is that he's improved his offensive rebounding quite a bit and is averaging a career high by far. When you consider that he's doing this while playing in a slightly more perimeter / spot-up oriented role than last season, it really shows that he's putting in effort to crash the boards.

His stats are basically identical from last year on a per 36 basis. Advanced stats are better. Team record is basically the same. Team record could be better if the trajectory continues.

Yeah but he doesn't have the surprise factor. What have you done for me lately and all that.
 
I think Lauri has improved from last year. He's looking opportunities to pass more than before. He's also constantly creating open lanes for his teammates by setting screens, he has also learnt to deal with defenders who chase him, and his overall defense is better than last year. I just wish we had a top playmaker to give him more shot attempts. He now averages only 16.3 FGA per game which is way too low considering his efficiency.

Agreed. Yet I don't think he gets in
I feel like our team had more hype last year
