[Tremendous Upside]

An underrated factor in Sexton leveling up this season is that he finally looks like he's completely recovered from his knee surgery. He had stretches last season where he played very well, but he never looked like he had all his explosiveness and quickness. Now he's back to being an amazing athlete who doesn't hesitate when going up in traffic.

The flipside is that Sexton's playing style is sometimes scary to watch. He puts his body on the line like a young D-Rose.

His health may be the biggest benefit when it comes to limiting his minutes. He plays so hard that keeping him around 30 minutes a game could be key to keeping him fresh.

Yeah, you're reading it wrong. He gave no context to what he specifically meant, so that's definitely you putting your own spin on it.

Yup, then he missed an entire year then got traded and went immediately to the bench. He’s had to scratch and crawl to get where he is now. He’s still improving and progressing.

He went from being on a team where he was looked at as the team jewel after LBJ left before he even stepped on the court and was the target of the vets who weren’t happy he left. They didn’t have his back and the team being devoid of talent too much was placed on him to the point he wasn’t given the chance to develop all aspects of his game. Because of those circumstances I think he was given an unfair rep of being a losing player to the point that the cavs basically drafted his replacement.

Then, he was traded here where he wasn’t given a shot at starting. He’s a young player that now has to start over and learn another role, and on top of that he spent a lot of the season injured. But through it all it can’t be looked over that he stayed positive and a team player you never saw him use poor body language. All of this has only made him a better person and player. He has a strong constitution and will. I don’t think there’s anything he can’t overcome. He can only get better.

Wrong. There was also Hood, JR Smith, Kyle Korver, Channing Frye, Alec Burks, Matthew Dellavedova. They had plenty of none prospect type players. A vet isn’t someone that’s been in the league 10 or more years. And then there’s this.
