If I were asked if I wanted to play a bunch of guys who are shocked and distraught after watching one of their co-workers pretty much die in a painful way... yeah, I might pass.

Sounds like it happened during a team dinner and a lot of players were distraught. Coaches also in the hospital overnight so they were probably not in a good place either. Postponing makes sense, just sucks all around. At least the Jazz avoid a back to back, but who knows when it actually gets rescheduled, may end up being worse.

Yeah, that makes more sense for the delay now. Medical emergencies are fairly common in the NBA, no reason to delay a game for. Death at a team dinner the night before is unheard of.
