This Team.

I decided to make this thread to say.

I like this team.
I'm done bitching about Bell. He's played better lately.
I'm done wishing for Millsap or Jefferson to be moved. They are playing well enough together to see where they can go.

I like the makeup of this team and their potential going forward. I don't want or expect the team to make any moves during the course of this season. I don't think they need to unless there is a major injury.

This is a young team with a few veterans to help teach the young guys the right way to play. And that is a good thing.

I was not sold on a lot of aspects of this roster to start the year. But at this time I think it's time to let them play and see what you have. There will be time to revamp this roster in the off season. And I would like to see them wait until then to make any changes.

Flame away if your a (insert Jazz player name here) hater. But I think they should stand pat, unless an unbelievably good deal comes around.

This team has amazing chemistry. Th "problem areas" I see have nothing to do with chemistry. I really feel like these guys genuinly like each other and have each others back. I have not felt that about the Jazz since Stockton and Malone.

I'd say they should trade the hell out of Harris (yes, I'd say this again, and again), but I doubt he has substantial value at this point.

For me to be on board trading someone I have always said if the trade benefits the team. However I would be hesitant about messing with the teams chemistry at this point. I say trade him only if it was an excellent deal for us.

...well, I think all of us are in a state of shock! Yet and still, this Jazz team could easily win the next 4 games and be an outstanding 12-4! Dallas can be beaten at our house for sure, and the Clippers will be without CP3 so that helps!

This team is fun to watch. They are funner than previous teams. I think they will win on the road because they are not an outside shooting team. When we relied on Okur and Korver, we were in trouble when we went on the road. I don't expect them to win every game, but if they play hard and are fun to watch, I'm all in.

I have not enjoyed watching basketball this much in a lot of years! After a rocky start, the chemistry on this team has kicked in big-time, and is getting better each game. All 13 guys showed up in great shape and ready to play, which I can't ever remember in the past. To a man they have totally bought into playing team DEFENSE, which again I don't recall ever being a Jazz strength. A truly amazing turnaround and GREAT job by coach Ty!!!!

I'm definately feeling better about the team than I was before the season. Having said that, I'm keeping my expectations grounded until they prove they can compete on the road consistently. Denver was probably looking past us somewhat last night, because of how bad they creamed us the first time around. On the positive side, Utah did a GREAT job of not letting the officials take them out of their game, especially down the stretch. That was a big problem in the blowout losses on the road to start the year.

Agreed, everyone else has their definite strengths except Harris. He hasn't contributed like he should at either end of the floor. He is a shell of his former self, and I believe that's putting it kindly. I would be happy just to get a backup point (like Dragic or Will Bynum) along with an expiring contract for him. The problem is, it's likely that no one wants his $9M salary.

UTAH trades: Harris

ATL trades: Hinrich + this year's first-round pick (I'm just guessing they still own this)

Obviously Hinrich has to pass his physical. He could backup Watson, who's been very good with the starting players. Hinrich is a better defender and 3-pnt shooter when healthy. Harris fits with ATL better. ATL is in a win now sort of mode, and Harris helps them.

EDIT TO ADD: Hinrich is in the final year of his deal, fyi.

I say trade CJ and Harris for any available upgrade at PG. Bell is a valuable mentor to both Burks and Hayward and can be a lock down defender. Trading CJ will open up more minutes forHayward, Burks and Jeremy Evans.
