It’s a lot easier to move on from guys you didn’t draft (see Ochai). Similar to GM’s in the NFL moving off QB’s they didn’t draft a lot easier.

Those picks looked good tonight. DA to Lauri: "We really want you to stick around but if not oh well your not a top-10 player anyway and routinely enough you disappear from games.
