My favorite part about Hendricks is the confidence that the has in his outside shot whether he is hot or cold. Half the battle with shooting is having the confidence to take an open look and not second guess yourself when you are a younger player. I'm pretty confident that he settles into that high 30% range from 3 within these next few years. One thing I noticed from the Hendricks video was how much quicker his shot was than in college.
It was a great pick. Yes you want a star, and he probably won't be that, but I think he'll turn out to be an amazing complimentary piece that every title contending team would want. His defense was outstanding, especially for a rookie, and he's a good 3 pt shooter - those two traits alone will make him a high-value contributor.Just watched the Tay Henny one.
Love what I saw. Just what I was expecting when he was coming out of college. Floor spreading shooter on offense, and long/quick/athletic/ rangy defender who can switch onto multiple body types and defend them.
Good rebounder.
Looks like an amazing role player along the lines of many dudes I just watched doing great things in the playoffs this season.
If he can develop more mid range game and off the dribble offense or even a little post up (I liked his baby hook in that highlight. Looked really natural) then he could be a real steal.

Moved stiffly? I never noticed anything like that. You stilll butt hurt he left your favorite GLeague team high and dry? LolTay Henny ran and moved stiffly his entire rookie season. Whether that was because of his mysterious injury or is just a lack of overall flexibility or muscle tone surely that can be fixed or improved upon by the training staff.
