2024 NBA Draft Reaction Thread

am i the only who thinks sexton keyonte and now collier are points guards and not shooting guards. i would not play them together because of their defensive liabilities.
Most likely case scenario is we find a dump for Clarkson before the season starts and they explore Sexton/Collins mid;season.

Doubt Collier plays at all to start. He's going to be a GLeague star next to whoever we draft at 32.

I think overall it’s a good night for them. Just the big knock on Dilly was he may not be able to play in the playoffs. It’s more of a long term play than me and other people are letting on but still kinda weird.
Dillingham really couldn’t have went to a better situation. He has the best defensive team in the league surrounding him.

Keyonte isn't a pure point guard, and so far he hasn't been much of an advantage creator when he's on the ball. He's still developing obviously, but to me he's more of a combo-guard who can score at this stage. Think Reggie Jackson in Detroit. I think he can play next to another lead guard.

I'm surprised that the Spurs, a 22-win team last year, would punt on their top-8 pick, when guys like Williams, Buzelis and Carter are sitting there.

100%, but it makes for an extremely small backcourt if you take him off the ball. imo, he needs to be a lead guard due to his size and then ideally you'd have a bigger guard play alongside him. that's ultimately the issue.
