If we drafted Scoot, we likely don't draft Keyonte.Who was our guy that we missed out on?
We were getting Key regardless of how good or bad we tanked. Key was drafted 16 with the Twolves pick
Danny said there is no plan… it’s fair to criticize some of their issues. This up coming season and what it results in is probably the time to start giving some serious analysis… last two years has been really a weird transition period. Kinda letting the waves take us a bit… it’s time to start steering the ship a bit more. Now I will say, I think the Jazz are currently in a fantastic position to do more of a natural tank. The roster is nearly full of young talent under 23 years old, there aren't many available roster spots to be filled by veterans, they appear to be actively trying to trade Clarkson/Collins, they seemingly want to re-sign a guy like Juzang over bringing in a veteran, and the draft appears to be strong (always wary of the pre-season declarations about this stuff because of the Wiggins draft).
So for all the whiny *** bitches who constantly cry about "no plan" well selling off your vets for value as you gradually stock young talent so you can be setup for two back to back strong classes kind of seems like a plan to me (if that ends up being the case)
But who knows maybe the Jazz shock everyone this year and are actually competitive because they drafted and developed so well then we will have to hear the endless stream of tears about the Jazz ruining the tank by drafting good players.
No one really knows, and maybe you’re right but IMO the jazz weren’t going to draft Whitmore. We do know the jazz loved Key and way higher on their board than anyone else still available. But we’ll never knowIf we drafted Scoot, we likely don't draft Keyonte.

Isn’t letting the season play out and then deciding whether to pull the cord or not a plan though?Danny said there is no plan… it’s fair to criticize some of their issues. They definitely draft bothIf we drafted Scoot, we likely don't draft Keyonte.
I’m just quoting Danny?Isn’t letting the season play out and then deciding whether to pull the cord or not a plan though?
Nope but if they say it it’s tough to be pissy if people complain about no plan.FO always tell fans the truth

The important thing when it comes to Flip is having reasonable expectations. The hope should be that he can carve out a role as solid bench big that can provide spacing and some scoring punch. If he exceeds that role then that is awesome but I think that should be the expectation. If he becomes that type of player then it's a rock solid pick at 32.This is a fair point. His BPM did have a sizable drop off against top 50 opponents….in comparison to Edey and Clingan at least. I think the lack of length catches up to him a bit when he’s against better competition.
