So true.
It's super strange that many Americans WANT a president that has a syndrome named after him that afflicts so many fellow Americans.
I prefer the president to not drive people insane.

You keep referencing TDS being Trump’s fault rather than your own. It’s more the fault of propaganda shoved down the public’s throat. If you could get past the surface of the propaganda it wouldn’t affect you so detrimentally. Of course, I’m speaking from my own perspective having gone from being generally repulsed by Trump, to noticing the over reaction by Fox/CNN/MSNBC propagandists, to my cynically championing his upsetting the establishment applecart, to admiring his stamina in the face of the barrage of lies (from the uniparty - both GOP and Dems), to finally appreciating our constitution as the unique people-empowering framework for government in the history of the world’s governments, that I’ve become a patriot. I never would’ve thought that. Nor would I have thought Trump, of all people, would largely be responsible for that outcome. Yeah, dude. I really admire Trump for getting us all more politically literate, so we can make efforts to resist the socialist slowgame takeover of our nation.

Anyway, no ill will your way, Fish. I’m still gonna troll you until you wake up, but you got a good heart and I pray you’ll come around someday. God is good.

Trump has much fault. No one forces him to have a million rallies and no forces him to tweet post truth social posts and no one forces him to run for president or sleep with pornstars or take classified documents and then not return them when subpoenas and pressure state officials to find votes that don't exist and send fake electors and make outlandish hyperbolic statements non stop.

The media has never covered a politician as much as they have trump. On that we can agree. They wouldn't cover him as much as they do if he didn't say and do the things he does though. He loves the attention and creates it for himself.

I have said this many times before. I literally never ever watch CNN, fox, MSNBC, newmaxx etc. I literally don't have the ability to since I don't have any subscriptions to anything. I don't listen to news radio, I listen to music in my car (other than the rare occasion I listen to KSL 1160 who rarely mention trump anyway)

Yet I still know all about him. He is unavoidable. Just the way he likes it.

Hell let's say you are right and it's all of our own faults and the media fault and trump is innocent in everything and just a victim like always.

TDS still exists and that is not a good thing for the country imo. One way to get rid of it. Get rid of trump. Or trump change his behavior. Lololololol at that ever happening

You admit you don’t educate yourself, or question the headlines that misinform the masses, so how can you KNOW anything? You tout your ignorance as if it’s something to be proud of. Yet you unquestioningly rage at Trump, based on lies in the media. If those lies were the truth, then we would all despise Trump. The change for me came when I discovered the media was lying about Trump (and trying to manipulate me).

Forgive me if the following veers too personal, but I’ve been married before (not any longer) and in order to keep the peace I tended to side with the Mrs on whatever. Didn’t often look too deeply into stuff that would’ve created conflict. Between employment, bills, sustaining a marriage, it’s pretty hard to scrutinize the media. Often lead to a shrug of the shoulders and lazily believing the loudest narrative.

I’ve had conversations with friends who admit the idea our govt is doing things contrary to the good of the people they claim to represent is just too scary to even consider. I can’t reach someone who is too afraid to follow the information wherever it leads. But we’re men. We can’t shirk from the difficulties before us. Praise God our bloated government has been exposed as much as they are. It would never have happened, had Trump not triggered the bureaucratic deep state into getting so desperate to hold onto their un-elected power that they do all kinds of underhanded shenanigans - so much so that the public can see them for the leviathan they are.

If Trump is out and we go back to the uniparty duopoly then it’s business as usual for the anti-America bureaucrats.

You gotta cure your own case of TDS with pursuing the truth wherever it leads. Not by depressing the symptom (Trump) alerting you to the cancer you’re unaware of.

There’s a lot to be hopeful about. I speak as a formerly disenfranchised and cynical independent for 25+ years before Trump burst onto the scene and gave me hope.

Anyway, I’ll cool it for a bit (hopefully) and hope I’ve planted a seed. I’ll try and turn my Jazzfanz attention to the Lauri drama and hoping DA doesn’t trade him UNLESS he gets a kings ransom. I love Lauri. I don’t want to lose him.

The bureaucrats are the heart and soul of our great nation and business as usual sounds pretty ****ing great to me.

I know by listening to Trump's own words.

Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose any supporters. The media didn't say that. I didn't say that. Trump did. He called you a sheep to your face. He wants you to hate and not trust the media. I get that means you have to since you are one of his supporters.

Go back to how it was pre trump? Sweet. I have loved my life and country for decades now. I don't need trump to make my life or country better. He does the opposite.

I miss the days when everyone didn't argue with each other about everything according to the beliefs of trump. I miss the days when I could just open up my internet browser and not see anything political. Impossible now. Happened all the time pre trump.

Yeah, I remember when the Jazzfanz app worked instead of this tepatalk ****. I had no idea y’all waxed political, ignorant as most of y’all are on here. Back then I thought jazzfanz was merely bread-and-circus distraction. I didnt intend on rapping politics with other Jazz fanz. Ignorance is bliss. It also leads to the frog getting boiled before he realizes it.

Could not disagree with you more. But I think I’ve found some common ground:
Isn’t it great that you and I will never meet in person? Enemies forever! Huzzah!

You are not my enemy. You are someone with a different opinion and point of view than I have. That's a long long long way from being my enemy.

But who knows, maybe we actually know each other right now and interreact on a regular basis? Wouldn't that be a trip?

“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman… to serve with a black president."
-Joe Biden the guy you guys are voting for while having the sheer audacity to childishly call others cultist while openly advocating for arresting political opponets that no other regime has done outside of Hitler, Mao, Stalin and other murderous dictators the alt-left mimic. 7/4/24

Keep in mind Biden the racist that you all are voting for while claiming Trump is bad said "I mean, you got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy." when speaking of Obama. Extremely racist, by far the most racist thing I have ever heard a president say, but that's normal for the Alt-Left. Racism is completely ok when its your vote... H

That would be nuts, but thanks for your measured reply. It does you credit, in spite of our opinions being polar opposites.

Trump’s musings speak to the reality that he’s good for clicks. News platforms performed quite well during his term — perhaps because people felt a need to stay abreast of all the trauma induced by his illiberal reign, or simply whatever idiotic thing he said on any given day. It’s no surprise that Trump — a known huckster who loves being on camera — would understand this.

But his remarks seem particularly scathing in the current context, as we’re seeing many in the American pundit class clamoring for President Joe Biden to drop his re-election bid (with the subtext being that not doing so could fatally damage Democrats’ presidential hopes) after his debate performance.

It’s remarkable, really: At last week’s debate, Trump spewed lies and bigoted bile for 90 minutes while rarely answering the questions. Some might say those are signs of aging and mental decline; others might say they’re simply disqualifying. Nonetheless, the headlines can make it seem like Biden is the only one whose fitness for office deserves scrutiny.

Even after the conservative-dominated Supreme Court effectively authorized parts of Trump’s bigoted efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election — and potentially paved the way for him to assassinate political rivals — pieces on Biden’s future have been driving at least one prominent editorial section.

Depending where you get your news, it can feel like these calls for Biden to drop out have been more vigorous than the ones for Trump to not be a candidate in this race — the same candidate who played a central role in the Jan. 6 insurrection, who was found liable for sexual abuse, and who was convicted of 34 felony counts related to the 2016 election.

Trump tapped into how addicted our society is to toxic behavior and the media went right along with it. I bet Trump loved to watch keeping up with the Kardashians.

Proves Trump correct by sharing literal propaganda and the very media he means lol. And funny how you bring up assassinating political opponents as you openly advocate for arresting political opponents and just 3 days ago you liked post where the poster and I were talking about how he wanted to LITERALLY assassinate Trump. Just like your boy GF did. I mean weren't you guys just hoping Trump died of a heart attack a week or two ago? It's ok for fish and co to talk assassination yet you blatantly lie yhat Trump will assassinate people. Melodrama and hypocrisy at its finest.

"Trump lied"... All politicians lie(remember Obama winning lie of the year) but did he s* all over our military by saying no one died on his watch? The exact same watch he looked at as 13 dead soldiers were escorted off of airplanes? You know the 13 soldiers that got blown to shreds because Biden ignored his own Generals? Crazy how y'all don't say about Biden lying just as much. Well not really, the hypocrisy in this forum is the worst I've ever seen. Ever.

Remember how angry you all got when some no name person said Trump said something bad about the military despite every single person there, even John Bolton who hates him, saying he didn't say it? You all are just easy to manipulate by the media Trump is talking about.

The power of the cult. This is one of the first times we've seen a cult be this closely intertwined in politics, which is why it has so much reach and power. But it's still a cult.
The power of the cult has people willing to vote for a senile geriatric who can’t function past 5 PM, and people willing to vote for a fraudster geriatric.

The power of the cult had people convinced Biden’s gaffes were just selective editing on clips rather than dementia, and any talk to potential dementia was ignored by the media because “that’s a right wing talking point.” Journalists literally said they weren’t even considering looking into Biden’s health because that’s what the right wingers were talking about! The power of the cult is pretty damn strong in both directions. Thriller nailed it earlier in this thread when he said Biden’s horrid debate didn’t matter, because people are going to vote the way they’re going to vote.
